Machining
Full machining is undertaken in our machine shop and these facilities
include: Facing, Horizontal Boring, Vertical Boring, Milling, Turning,
Drilling and Tapping.
Fitting of engine components
As part of our engine reconditioning service we also undertake
fitting of engine components such as valve seats and
valve guides.
Metal Stitching
Where components are badly damaged we now offer metal stitching.
Metal Stitching is a process whereby specially designed metal locks
are used to repair fractures, rejoin breaks and to seal any porosity.
This technique is applied to many components which are cracked,
broken and frost damaged.
The metal stitching process can be undertaken on-site, as no heat
is required for this type of repair. Therefore giving an instant
repair for our clients' damaged components. This process can be
applied to any plant machinery, agricultural, marine or automotive
casting such as:
- Frost damaged blocks & cylinder heads
- Stress fractures
- Holes in blocks
- Broken lugs and studs
- Fractured transmission and diff etc.
